Hoist Dependancies

A couple days ago another local RV’er asked to use the engine hoist that I have been borrowing from Len for the at least two years <ashamed>.  No problem!  In fact it really motivated me to work hard on the plane and try to get all hoist related work done so the it can be returned to Len rather than coming back to my place.  So I happily tossed the canopy frame aside and got to work of more fun stuff — like landing gear!  First I torqued the six bolts holding the engine mount to the firewall.  Then Pam steadied the tail end on the saw horse while I lifted the nose up high enough to get the gear legs in place.  This was considerably less time consuming than building the gear boxes on the RV-8!!
